Our Story

How a question became a company.

Nsoroma EduMate Technologies was not founded to chase a trend. It was founded to answer an injustice, and it is still answering it today.

A question that would not go away

Every founding story begins somewhere ordinary. Ours begins in a classroom in Ghana, watching brilliant students study from photocopied fragments of outdated textbooks while their peers elsewhere in the world learned with the best tools money could build.

The question was simple and uncomfortable: why should where a child is born decide the quality of what they can learn? Talent is evenly distributed across the world. Opportunity is not.

Building instead of waiting

In early 2025, Nsoroma EduMate Technologies was incorporated in Accra and made its home in Hohoe, in Ghana's Volta Region, becoming the first tech startup in the town. It began with a small team and a stubborn conviction: Africa does not need charity software or watered-down versions of foreign products. It needs world-class technology built for its own realities, its networks, its devices, its curricula, its languages.

The first product, EduMate Africa, was built offline-first from day one. Not as an afterthought, but as a foundation. If it didn't work in a school with unreliable connectivity, it didn't ship.

From education to an ecosystem

Education opened the door, but the mission was always larger. We became a full technology company, building wherever software could remove friction from people's lives, in Africa and beyond. QuizMate helped students prove what they knew, and Quiz Royal turned revision into a game worth winning. Taskdey helped skilled workers turn what they knew into income. Stockdey gave small businesses a till that keeps selling without internet. Efiewura made finding a home simpler and more transparent. NeuroBoost strengthened the minds behind all of it.

Seven platforms in under two years, and the thread is unchanged: identify a real problem faced by real people, and solve it with craftsmanship that would stand proud anywhere in the world.

The chapters still unwritten

Today, Nsoroma EduMate Technologies serves more than 500,000 users, with strong links across fourteen African countries and a growing audience worldwide. All of that in under two years. But by our own measure, we are at the beginning.

The next generation of engineers, teachers, artisans and founders, in Africa and around the world, is in a classroom right now. Everything we build is for them.

“Talent is evenly distributed. Opportunity is not. Our job is to close that gap, one product at a time.”
